Maternity jeans are Comfy and also Trendy

If you are an expectant mother and wish to continue wearing trendy fashions, maternity jeans will help you to do that. Many of the same styles are for sale to pregnant women for other women. There will vary kinds of pockets, closures, accents and waist styles.

Many different prices ranges allow mothers to become a choice of products, even if they’re on a budget. Products can range in price, from around $20 to $200, depending on logo and style. Old Navy has lots of styles for $30 or less. Low rise, boot cut, and full panel styles are a few of the options. The lower rise do not incorporate a lycra or spandex panel over the abdomen, but they are still in a position to stretch. The entire panel styles contain a stretchy panel from below the waist. Another option may be the roll panel waist, which can be folded over or opened up.

The actual waist product includes and adjustable rubber band on the inside, so the outside can look just like a non-maternity style. At just over $17, this can be a great bargain for expectant mothers. Motherhood and other maternity stores are also great places to locate these items at a fairly reasonable price. This store has many products in with the key fit belly, for under $45. A pea within the pod brand can also be available, if you are prepared to pay a great deal more.

Gap has skinny styles, wide leg, boot cut and many other styles, all priced at or below $75. The main one feature that’s common in many products for expectant mothers is the maternity denim, which is typically a bit softer and quite a bit more stretchy than typical materials for regular styles. Whatever the fabric used, they are still very fashionable to wear, even later during pregnancy.

An important feature about maternity jeans today is they aren’t like those styles of yesteryear. They appear much more like those styles other women are wearing. They appear great with a variety of tops and blouses and can be worn the whole pregnancy.

Virtually every retailer today offers a minimum of several choices in maternity jeans. They are affordable for pretty much any budget and provide the comfort an expectant mother needs. While they may be found in nearly any retail store, they may be purchased online as well. This is very convenient for the working pregnant women who does not like to look or has little time.

How/Where can I change my flared jeans to straight leg?

I bought a pair of True Religions at a nice, nice discount… but the only problem was that they’re Joey Big T’s, which have flared legs… I thought i’d be able to wear it anyways seeing as I love the brand but after today I hate them. Where can I alter them so they become straight legs?

In Toronto, On and about how much would it cost? How would they do it?

Thanks (Btw, I don’t wanna DIY cause I don’t wanna ruin my jeans)

Fit In Your Jeans By Friday Diet

Problem With My weight/Body Shape?

I am having problems with my body mainly because my jeans don’t fit. I’m 20 years old 5’4, 125 lbs, size 4, 29 inch waist. My body is probably most comparable to Heather Morris from Glee (http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2011/news/110530/heather-morris-300.jpg) Most of my jeans do not fit and I’m getting paranoid. My jeans are mostly a size 3, which I know is a junior fit, so is it likely I’m becoming womanly?

My diet is fine, I’m vegan so I’m not eating the wrong things, but I still have my jiggly parts. I do cardio such as jogging or elliptical, pilates/yoga and Kim Kardashian’s Fit in Your Jeans By Friday and I still can’t seem to tone up. Does anyone have any tips?

I don’t if I am gaining muscle and that is why pants don’t fit. I always thought muscle would be smaller than fat. But like I said, my jeans not being able to fit has made me very paranoid.

Thanks.

More yoga, less weight lifting type exercises, more jogging

best fitting jeans patterns
how can i make my own jeans?

so i was just thinking and i want to try and make my own pair of jeans with a custom fit and look im sure it will be difficult considering im a guy and know nothing about sewing lol but i have a pretty good artistic eye in my opinion so i want to design my own pair of jeans from scratch so i have a few questions.

what kind of measurements should i take to get the best fit?
where can i go to get a design i have drawn embroidered on a pocket?
where can i get the leather patch you see on levi’s stamped with a name i came up with? how do you put in the buttons you see on levi’s jeans by the pockets?
can i use a pair of old jeans as a template? i was gonna take a razor blade to a pair i dont wear any more and cut the thread holding the pieces together as a pattern and to see how it was put together?

lol im totally clueless on what im doing sorry but ill take all the instruction ii can get.

AS*holes stay a way

You’re biting off a pretty big chunk there. I’m going to suggest you start with a commercial jeans pattern and make it up just as directed in the instructions. Then you can start in with your decorations.

Measurements you’ll need will be waist, hip, inseam and outseam. Look here: http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/4610/how-to-measure-up

Assuming you’re not talking about the sort of design typically sewn on back pockets like Levis do, then you can embroider by hand or take the project to a professional machine embroiderer. Check the phone book.

Leather patch: check with local leatherworkers. phone book and local craft shows.

“Buttons” by the pockets, etc are rivets. http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100409193443AAz4PU3

I don’t suggest you use old jeans as a pattern at first. When you’re ready to try: http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/4841/copying-complex-garments
It would behoove you, however, to take a pair of old jeans completely apart with a seam ripper, documenting how they went together.

(yes, that really is about the extent of commercial jeans patterns for men)

Jeans are a very involved project that I personally wouldn’t suggest for a beginner unless you’ve got a good teacher backing you up. I’d suggest you try a couple of other basic sewing projects first, then the jeans. Nevertheless, I’ve seen determined beginners do some really good stuff.

how to cut jeans into shorts men
How short is too short when making a pair of cut-offs?

I’d like to turn a pair of my jeans into cut-offs. What’s the shortest length I can cut them to without attracting unwanted sexual attention from other men?

Good cut-offs would probably be at the shortest just above your knee or halfway down your knee cap depending on your height.

Silver Jeans Size Chart Pants

need help with American ladies pants sizes (10pts)?

OK so i have 36 inch hips and im usually about a size 9-11 in women’s Australian sizes. Im going to buy these pants http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/apparel/Bottoms/Silver-And-Brass-Stud-Light-Blue-skinny-jeans-233764.jsp but when i looked at the sizing charts i became confused..It says im a size 3 yet i measured my waist (23 and a half inch) and bust (35 inch) in proportion to the size 3 measurings and theyre way off.

Can someone tell me what 36 inch hips convert to in American sizes? or at least what a size 9-11 in Aus sizes converts to? thanks.

Since you said you wear a 9-11 in Australian sizes, I put in a size 10. It converted it to a size 6 in U.S sizes.
