I’m planning on going on a shopping spee for jeans next weekend and I was wondering what brands you guys like the most. My favorite style of jeans are skinny, low rise, boot cut or ripped/distressed (if that helps) I have a hard time finding jeans that fit. I’m usually a size 3 but it’s always tight on my butt but if I get a size 5, it’s too loose on my hips. I have most of the popular stores in my mall so that won’t be a problem. Also, I can’t fit into hollister/abercrombie jeans =/

For women with waists smaller in proportion the their hips, like it sounds like you are (and me, too), Eddie Bauer Curvy Fit jeans have waist one size smaller than hips. They also have trousers with the same fit (look for Blakely Fit). I also find Gloria Vanderbilt – Amanda style jeans (from Kohl’s) and Lee Jeans from Sears both have a similar fit as well.

I think fit matters more than brand. Yes , it’s true that a $200 pair will have a better quality of denim and stitching, but ultimately fit is just a question of you finding out what looks good on your body – and that might be a $30 pair of levis or a $200 pair of true religion. So i don’t think the cost difference is worth it generally.
